Barbara Ann Braun Born November 24, 1961 and passed away peacefully on March 7, 2015 with her family at her side. Barbie attended church preschool, John Dolan school, Henry Kelsey school and Walter Murray Collegiate. Barbie worked at Cosmo Industries for over 30 years. Elmwood Residences/Kinsmen Manor became Barbie's home in September 1984 where she resided for over 30 years, until her passing from Alzheimer's. She had a wonderful life there with many friends and an extremely caring staff. Barbie loved getting her nails painted, going shopping, spending time with family, and going on group outings such as Saskatoon Blades hockey games, concerts, bowling, coffee at Tim's or a Big Mac meal at McDonald's. Barbie will truly be missed by all who knew her. Her strong warm hugs (her signature greeting) will especially be missed. Barbie was predeceased by her sister Elsie, brother Rodney, mother Helen, father William and stepmother Sarah. Leaving to mourn are her siblings: Gordie (Dixie) Braun, Lois Hudson (Ken Driedger), Glenda (Brian) Konschuh, Eddy Braun, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Elmwood Lodge (Kinsmen Manor) or Grosvenor Park United Church. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Grosvenor Park United Church, 407 Cumberland Ave. S. (the corner of 14th St. E. and Cumberland Ave. S.), Saskatoon, Sk.
