BROWN, Barbara (nee Haining) - On October 13, 2013 Barbara passed away at the age of 86 after a long illness. Beloved wife of Douglas for 60 years. Born in Winnipeg in 1927 and in 1953 married and moved to Toronto. Survived by Audrey Mason, Ronald Brown and Nancy Kroff and 10 grandchildren. She enjoyed 30 years of travelling around the world, enriched by the beauty of this earth and the cultures on it. A memorial service will be held at Erindale United Church, Saturday, October 19th at 9:30 a.m. Coffee and refreshments to follow. No flowers please. Donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
