a/k/a Yasmin S. Al-Lateef December 3, 2005 Yasmin passed peacefully among family at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, NY, at the age of 65. She was born at St. Joseph's Hospital, Far Rockaway, NY on September 4, 1940 to Joseph Luther Walls and Ethel Belle Keaton Walls. Yasmin was a graduate of Amityville Memorial High School. In her many prominent positions, she was Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Revlon Corporation, Head of Personnel for NYS Port Authority, World Trade Center, Executive Secretary for former Attorney General Louis Leftkowitz, Lindenhurst, Long Island and she retired as an Executive Secretary at Pilgrim State Hospital, Brentwood, New York. Although she was not in good health, before her passing, Yasmin dedicated her secretarial skills to her sister and brother-in-law's store, setting up the entire filing system at Salina Shoe Salon; we were all very proud of that accomplishment. She is survived by three children; son, Lawrence D. Diamond-Walls, Syracuse, NY; daughters, Crystal C. Walls, Houston, Texas and Loretta R. Walls, Richmond, Virginia; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Yasmin also leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters, Rev. Dr. Beatice K. Adams, Sewell, NJ and Amatullah Yamini, Syracuse, NY and one brother-in-law, Imam Hassan Yamini. Memorial Services: Today, December 10, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Genesis Funeral Chapel.
