ARMSTRONG Barbara Ann Toffolio Armstrong, 69, passed away on Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012. Barbara was born on August 22nd, 1942 in Pensacola, Florida. She was born to the late Anthony and Ruth Toffolio. She received her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing at Santa Fe Community College in Gainesville, FL. She married the late Robert Clayton Armstrong Jr. in 1958. Barbara loved the Florida Gators and was a proud member of the Gator Nation. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and always seemed to get a chuckle out of a stranger. Barbara was a Methodist by faith. Her two favorite places to be were Walt Disney World and Salt Springs Florida. Barbara was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Barbara is survived by her two children, Barbara Armstrong Smith and Robert Clayton Armstrong III; her grandchildren, Miranda Tirrill Dilger, and husband, Jaxon Dilger, Kyle Anthony Smith, and Lindsey Mariah Mozo; her great grandchild, Triston Walker Dilger; her nieces, Angela Toffolio, Cindy Wells, and Vicky Hughes; nephews, Thomas Toffolio, Tony Wells, and Jerry Wells; and many other extended family members and wonderful friends. Barbara will truly be missed by her family and friends. The viewing will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Friday, May 25, 2012 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL, and the memorial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 in the chapel.
