August 27, 2008 Ms. Barbara Ann Smith, 66, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, Wednesday, at Crouse Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted loving son, Brigham Smith (Laqueshia) of Syr-acuse; four loving brothers, Otis Smith Jr. of Syracuse, William Smith (Gloria) of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Smith of Ft. Payne, AL and Charles Smith of Auburn, NY; two loving sisters, Linda Duvall (Rev. Willie) of Hyattsville, MD and Clara Smith of Syracuse; a devoted daughter, Barbara Johnson; two aunts, Louise Brown of Syracuse and Frances Whorton of Ft. Payne, AL; seven grandchildren; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends. Calling hours will be Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. at Living Water COGIC, 121 Huron St., with funeral services following at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Garland Bros. Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
