Barbara Ann "Babs" Hall, 64, of Vero Beach, died Nov. 17, 2007, at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Vero Beach for more than 18 years after moving to Florida in 1971. Before retirement, she had worked in the classification department at the Indian River Correctional Institution for 13 years. She was a lifelong parishioner of the Roman Catholic Church and attended St. Helen Catholic Church since 1989. She also was a member of the Vero Beach Highland's Kaffee Klatsch. Survivors include her husband, David E. Hall Sr.; son, Brian Hall of Vero Beach; brother, Harold Higham of Tallman, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Faye Higham of Tallman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Claire Hall, Susan and Gerald George, Nora and Jeff Dixon, Patricia Willenbrock and their families, all of Vero Beach. She was preceded in death by her son, David E. "Davy" Hall Jr. in 1991. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 23 at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
