Barbara loved flowers and gardening, despite her lack of a green thumb. She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Lucy Allen; and her sister, Rebecca Arnett. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 45 years, Herbert Forest Brown; son, Robert Allen Brown; daughter, Helen Jo Brown Wayman (Randall); brother, Forrest Wilson Allen (Sharon); and grandchildren, Andrew Wayman, Jennifer Wa-yman, Jake Brown and Lucy Brown. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm, on Saturday, March 8, at Stowers Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 3 pm.
