Obituary of Barbara-A. Cox

Barbara A. Cox, 71, died Dec. 9, 2012, at The Treasure Coast Hospice Residence, Stuart. She was born in Indianapolis and lived in Jensen Beach for 20 years, coming from Bloomington, Ind. Before retirement, she was an office manager for the turnpike system in Indiana and Florida. She was a member of Christian Victory Center. She was a Pink Lady for Martin Medical Center and Hugs Ministry. Survivors include her sons, Michael Cox of Stuart, and Edward Cox and Tony Cox, both of Palm City; sisters, Ruth Hering of Evansville, Ind., and Karen Montesano of Kansas City, Mo.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Cox. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997; or www.tchospice.org. Services: Friends may visit from noon to 1 p.m. Dec. 12 in the Chapel of Martin Funeral Home & Crematory/Stuart Chapel, with a chapel service to begin at 1 p.m. with the Rev.
