SMITH, BRIAN, age 42 of Minneola, passed away June 30, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bronx, NY, he made his home in Florida for 37 years. He was a Sergeant First Class in the US ARMY where he served with love and dedication since 1980. He personally trained over 10,000 soldiers to support our war on terrorism. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Dyanne; son, Mark; mother, Cecelia; brothers, Kevin (Leslie) and Robert (Jennifer); sisters, Kathleen (Larry) Wright, Maurine (David) Correa, Colleen (Tom) Woodard, Kelli- Ann Doherty; and many nephews and nieces. Brian's first love was his family. His second love was the United States ARMY, especially his unit, the 3rd Battalion 347th Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 87th Division. No Greater Love It's better to love once in a life than to never love at all. Brian, my beloved husband, my best friend; God brought us together on December 27, 1989 and since that day, I found love in the most beautiful, unconditional way. Brian, love of my life, father of our son, Mark, I see you depart today, leaving me with a broken heart, but many loving memories of 15 wonderful years of life together. I'm grateful to God for all the happiness we had together and those great moments in life we shared. You are my one and only true love. Farewell for now, until God reunites us again.
