Survivors include her husband, Brawner S. Smith; mother, Inez Simmons; brother, Spencer Simmons; son, B. Shawn Smith (Kristy); grandchildren LaShawna Smith and Harrison Smith; 2 great-grandchildren and 3 nieces.
