NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Blanche D. Rheaume, 87, died Sept. 7, 2010, after a long illness. She was born Feb. 20, 1923, in Manchester, N.H., to Joseph E. and Anna (Mooney) Beauchemin, and was educated in local schools. She was treasurer-manager of J.F. McElwain Credit Union for 35 years. She also worked for a brief time at Catholic Medical Center. She was state president of the Catholic War Veterans of New Hampshire for several years. She was married to Leo Rheaume for 34 years. He died Oct. 2, 2010. Family members include her son, Stevens Daigneault of Manchester, N.H.; stepdaughter Diane Minkovitz of Savannah, Ga.; stepson Robert Rheaume of Manchester; sister Sylvia Huhman of Boynton Beach; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Sylvio Daigneault. IN HER LIFE: Family members also include her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Daigneault of ManchesterH.; granddaughters Stacy Beaulieu of Sandston, Va., and Jill Cyr, of Warwick, R.I.; and great-grandsons Sebastian Cyr and Parker Beaulieu. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Beauchemin, and a sister, Germaine Beauchemin. SERVICES: There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, at the convenience of the family. A memorial mass will be held in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
