WALPOLE, N.H. -Beverly E. Harris, 82, diedFeb. 19, 2012, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. She was born March 14, 1929, in Claremont, the daughter of Floyd and Miriam (Haskell) Young. She was a graduate of Springfield (Vt.) High School. Mrs. Harris worked for Jones and Lamson in Springfield and was housekeeper for Austin Hubbard for 25 years. She was a member of Westminster (Vt.) Congregational Church and enjoyed going to York Beach in Maine. Survivors include her husband, Harold Edmund Harris of Walpole, whom she married Oct. 30, 1948, in Weathersfield Bow, Vt.; two children, Dennis Harris of Vernon, Vt., and Dianne Fontaine of North Springfield, Vt.; a brother, Kenneth Young of Weathersfield, Vt.; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by six siblings. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home inBellows Falls, Vt. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Congregational Church in Westminster and burial will take place in the Weathersfield Bow cemetery.
