Beulah Lesley Johnson, 94, formerly of Greenville, S.C., died on Thursday, November 9, 2006, at Ann Maria Nursing Center in North Augusta, S.C. Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late William and Melissa Clark Lesley and wife of the late Charlie J. Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of Brandon Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Johnson Padget, and husband, James, of Aiken; a brother, James David Lesley, and wife, Mary, of Easley; grandchildren, Allyson McCarthy of Clarks Hill, S.C., Cindy Baxter of New Jersey, Susan Dunbar (Rick) of New Jersey, and Mike McCarthy (Debbie) of Aiken; five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation from 12 to 1:30 p.m., before the service. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West.
