TALLADEGA - Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Lovelace Brooks, 78, will be Saturday, August 18, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. Brother Jeff Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Brooks passed away August 16, 2012, at Citizens Baptist Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roy Brooks; two children, Russ Brooks of Pelham and Shelley Adams (Joe) of Talladega; sister Doris Raines (Ray) of Sylacauga; brother Robert Lovelace (Kathy) of Talladega; sister-in-law Frances Lovelace of Talladega; three grandchildren, Joseph Adams, Emily Adams and Haley Brooks; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, David Brooks; brothers Claude Lovelace and Fred Lovelace; her parents Lehman and Gertrude Lovelace; and sister-in-law Ernestine Lovelace. The family will receive friends August 18 from 1 p.m. until service time. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega is directing.
