DAVIS, BETTY JOYCE MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, Feb. 25 - 1:00 Lively Hope Baptist Church, 905 Court T, Birmingham, AL Betty Joyce Davis was born on October 22, 1944 to the late Mr. Matt Davis and Mrs. Mattie Wright Davis in Birmingham, AL. She made her transition on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Betty's homegoing service was held on Saturday Feb. 18, 2012 at Duggan's Funeral Service in San Francisco, CA. Betty attended South Pratt Elementary and graduated from Western Olin High School in 1963. She was employed for over 40 years in nursing, working the majority of years at General Hospital and Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, CA. Preceding her in death were her beloved brothers, Sylvester Davis; Clarence Davis, Sr.; Claude Davis, Sr; Joshua Davis, Sr. and her dearest sisters, Minerva Davis Schley; and Marion Davis Rockins. Betty leaves to cherish her memory: a devoted daughter Judith Bryant, San Francisco, CA; her sisters: Mamie Davis Craig and Amanda Davis Dawson (Michael); and her brother: Cicero Davis all from Birmingham, AL; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and dear friends. >
