BROCK, BETTY JOYCE ANDERSON - born December 29, 1932, went home to be with Jesus, June 18, 2014. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fountain City for over 68 years, where she taught in the pre-school department for many years and also led Jolly Elders senior Group. She was a member of Heartstrings Dulcimer Club for eighteen years. Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Eulah Anderson; sister, Helen Anderson Roberts; and brother, Howard Anderson. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Weldon (Red); sons, Jewel and wife, Jerri, David and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Emily and Brian Lanius, Jeremy and Amy Brock, Josh and Keely Brock, Tyler Brock, Chris, Mark, and Lauren Attanasio; great-grandchildren, Caleb and Memphis; brother, Charles Anderson; sisters, Mary Wallace, Velma Kincaid, and Alberta Williams; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet Saturday, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service. Family will receive friends friday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, with Rev. Donny Wadley and nephew, Rev.
