Michael Townsend officiating. Burial will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Elgin. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice of the Midlands, 805 Buff St, West Columbia, SC 29169. Mrs. Moore died Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late George Washington Williams and Leila Mae Spencer Williams. A member of New Heights Church, she was "Nanny" to numerous children, grandchildren and church babies. Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and wonderful friend and neighbor. She died the way she lived - surrounded by her family and friends.Survivors include her daughters, Janie (Jim) Sigmon of Ft. Mill, SC and Cindy (Mike) Johnson of Columbia; son, Ricky Moore of Atlanta; sister, Angie Stacks of San Rafael, CA; grandchildren, Matthew Sigmon, Tim, Kevin, Hannah and Caroline Johnson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
