Funeral services will be held Saturday,April 3, 2010 at 12:00 Noonfrom New Liberty MissionaryBaptist Church, 6009 CarterHill Rd., Pike Rd., AL with Pastor Robert Powell, officiating.Interment will follow in CarterHill Cemetery with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home, Inc., directing. Mrs. Whittaker will liein repose at the church onehour prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Whittaker was headcook for various restaurants.She leaves to cherish hermemories her loving and devoted husband of forty-sixyears, Johnny Whittaker; onedaughter, Johnnie Mae Whittaker (George), both of Montgomery, AL; father, ArthurJones, Sr.; one half brother,Arthur Jones, Jr., of Cleveland, OH; one brother-in-law,Jessie Whittaker; one sister-in-law, Eloise Darby; one nephew, Jerome Darby; specialfriends; Audrienna Jackson,Tanya Turner and Mose Tolliver, all of Montgomery, AL; fiveuncles; four aunts; and a hostof cousins, other relatives andfriends.
