HALL, Master Benjamin Gordan, III, age 9, a resident of Shorter, AL, departed this life in Saturday, June 16, 2001. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. from Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. S. Howard, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery with Phillips-Riley Funeral Home directing. He leaves to cherish devoted parents, Benjamin (Brenda) Hall, Jr., Shorter, Alabama; one older brother, Kendrick (Layne) Hall, Montgomery, AL and a younger sister, Brianna Nicole Hall, Shorter, AL. He also leaves a beloved Great-Grandmother, Leola Floyd, Shorter, AL; four Grandparents, Benjamin (Naomi) Hall, Sr., Oliver (Evelyn) Horne, Sr.; 11 aunts, Ruth (Benjamin) Adams, Thelma (O'Neal) Hardmon, Sr., Montgomery, AL, Ann (Bobby) Brown, Chicago, IL, Loretta (Xavier) Smith, Sr., Gail Hall, Beverly (Bobby) Foye, Sr., Deborah (Marvin) Woods, Sharon Horne, all of Shorter, AL, Phyllis Horne, Brockton, MA and Denise Horne, Orlando, FL; three uncles, Oliver (Shawana) Horne, III, Shorter, AL, Vernon (Kim) Hall, Sr. and Albert Adams, both of Montgomery, AL; seven great-aunts; four great-uncles and one niece, Brittany Kitt. Benjamin also leaves Godparents, Douglas and Mary Jones, Shorter, AL and Oliver Hearns, Marianna, FL. He also leaves a host of relatives and friends. Master Hall will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
