Born May 10, 1950 in Pittsburg, PA, Barbara had achieved her primary goal to establish her own business, Sammy Support Services. She was an advocate of the disabled and sought to provide those with disabilities the utmost care and respect. She loved to sew and always had the next project on her mind. Barbara is survived by her husband Christopher Wood, her daughter Samantha Wood, her two sons, Jonathan and Charles Wood, and her loving family. Her courage and strength is truly inspirational to those who witnessed her fight with breast cancer. The world lost a beautiful soul July 25, but not without the greatest fight.
