MITCHELL, Barbara Hammett, 67, a resident of Lowndesboro, AL, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2005, after an extended illness. Fu-neral services will be held Wednes-day, October 5, 2005, at 2 pm at Al-abama Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Turner offici-ating. Burial will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2005, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, Will-ie Ray Mitchell; daughters, Judith (David) Cooper, Margie (C. James) Shamburger, both of Montgomery, AL; son, David (Sheila) Mitchell, Chesapeake, VA; mother, Florence Hammett; sister, Martha Godwin, both of Pensacola, FL; brother, Law-rence Hammett, Eclectic, AL. mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her father, Athan Hammett. Pall-bearers will be Joe Ward, Kevin Bell and her grandsons, Justin Cooper, Will Cooper, Christopher Mitchell and Skyler Mitchell.Alabama Heritage Directing
