BARBARA DOROTHY JORDAN (nee CALLEN) Passed away peacefully on April 30, 2012 at Beechwood Court in Mississauga, aged 86. Beloved wife of 65 years of William Peters Jordan, devoted mother of Richard (Maureen) Jordan of Mississauga and Jocelyn (Garry) Woodcock of Elmvale. Loving Bobby of Emily Parkinson and Kate and Megan Jordan. Dear sister of Calvin (Margery) Callen of North York. Barbara was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, daughter of Anna T.S. and William George Callen and grew up in Fairbank, York Township. After a successful career as a stay-at-home wife and mom, she worked at Baycrest Hospital, rising to become Financial Controller before retiring in 1984. She attended St. Christopher-on-the-Heights Anglican Church and then Armour Heights Presbyterian Church. Visitation on Wednesday, May 2 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 3 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
