BARBARA CAMMUSE BROWN, 79 WINTER HAVEN - Barbara Cammuse Brown of Winter Haven, died Sunday, July 7, 2013, in Auburndale, Fl., of a cerebrovascular accident. She was born August 14, 1933, in Nashville, Tennessee. Her maiden name was Cammuse and she comes from a long lineage in the middle Tennessee region. She married her true love, Fred Brown Sr. and moved to Bartow in 1952, after he had served in the U.S. Air Force. They were both employed with the phosphate mines. She was an executive secretary with IMC Corp. and worked at the Norlynn Mine outside Bartow. She loved cooking, sewing and painting and was outstanding with each. She was especially proud of earning a bachelor's degree, Summa Cum Laude in the liberal arts while she was retired. She had a high spirit and indomitable will. She will be sorely missed. She is survived by her son, Fred Brown Jr. of Winter Haven, Fl., and sister Patsy Cammuse of Carthage, Tenn. Graveside services are Saturday, July 13. 2013, at 1:00 p.m. in Wauchula Cemetery.
