Lee, age 90 of 165 Fyffe Drive, husband of the late Pauline Reese Lee, died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Rainey Hospice House.Born in Oconee County, SC on April 13, 1920, Mr. Lee was a son of the late Austin Lee and Lela Orr Lee. He retired from LaFrance Industries. He served his country proudly as a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II. He was a charter member of the Pendleton American Legion Post #113. Mr. Lee was a member of Faith Fellowship in Pendleton and attended the Men's Adult Sunday School Class.Survivors include his children, Sandra L. Bailey and her husband, Terry of Anderson, SC, Jim Lee and his wife, Peggy of Seneca, SC, Carol L. Russell of Greenville, SC, Diane L. Seagraves and her husband, Doug of Anderson, SC and Janet Lee Forbes of Ft. Lauderdale FL; brothers, Clarence, Carl, Jack and Ray Lee; sisters, Agnes Oliver and Ruth Edwards. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Kris Burriss and her husband, Blitz, Amy Keenan and her husband, Dan, and Brandi Harrison; four great-grandchildren, Bailey and Jenna Burriss and Abby and Daniel Keenan.In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Viola Beaty and brothers, Ervin and Ralph Lee.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Jimmy Cox. Interment will follow with military honors at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will be at the home of his daughter, Sandra Bailey, 244 Graylyn Drive, Anderson and will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm.Flowers are optional.
