BRIERE Aurore Claire May 1, 1922 - January 1, 2009It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Aura. Born in Vonda, Sask. Predeceased by siblings Helen, Leo, Harvey, Irene and Rene, grandson Shane and husband Leonard. Survived by her sisters Bertha (Gerry), Dora (Ed), Rita (Mel), Lil (Bill), Blanche (Roger); also Walter, Terry, Rose and Pierette and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by her four children Denis (Doris), Don, Larry (Sandy) and Sharol (Doug) and 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In retirement Aura and Len enjoyed trips to Yuma, fishing trips and their place in Birch Bay. It is here that they entertained friends and family for many years. In her later years Burquitlam Lions Care became her loving care home. It is here that she would have teatime with her visitors or a gathering for her birthday parties. We would like to extend a special thanks to the caring staff at Burquitlam Lions Care for the love and care they provided to Mom. A service will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2009 at 12:00 noon, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 402 Royal Avenue, New Westminster.
