MONAGHAN, Augustin Frederick Peacefully on Monday, August 13, 2007 at the St-Louis Residence at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Marie Blanche Pilon. Dear son of the late Mark and late Elizabeth Ann (McCoy) Monaghan. Loving father to Eileen E. (Donald) Wagar, Bernard (Shirley), Michael (Madeleine), John (Louise) and Brian. Cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren: Jennifer, Christine, Sharon, Stephen, Carolyne, Trevor and Tania as well as great-grandfather to four great grandchildren. Dear brother to Dorothy, Clifford, Frederick and Edmund. He was predeceased by his brothers Emmanuel and Leonard and also by his sisters Kathleen and Aileen. Friends may pay respects at Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St-Joseph Blvd., Orleans on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to St-Patrick's Basilica for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
