She was a member of St. John Baptist church. Survivors include: daughters, Iona (Leroy, Sr.) Harris, Esther M. Mitchell; sons, James Mitchell Jr., Paul (Evyette) N. Mitchell of Atlanta, Ronald (Georgia Ann) Mitchell of Jonesboro; sister, Gloria Green, Deacon James Mitchell (Patricia), children, Patty Dean Lied, Roslyn Crumbley, Brenda Thrope, Serena Lied, Phillip Lied, Roland Lied, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cater; uncle, Mr. Ansel (Genvera) Kittle of Gretina, VA, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
