THOMPSON, Audrey Frances (nee Hills) April 24, 1919 – February 23, 2012 Audrey Thompson of Calgary and formerly Silton, SK, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the age of 92 years. Audrey was born in Regina, SK to Lily and Frank Hills. She married the love of her life, Pat, during WWII in 1942. Pat was stationed in many places during their early married life, including Fontainebleu, France. They retired to Silton, SK, which was their favourite place to have lived. Audrey will be remembered for her sense of humour and adventurous spirit. Audrey is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Judy and Craig Meyers of Calgary, AB, her son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Dianne Thompson of Winnipeg, MB, six grandchildren Leigh, Douglas, Patrick, Tracey, Terri and Jodi, her great grandchildren, her brother Robert Hills of Key Largo, FL, as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her husband Frederick “Pat” Thompson, and her sister Loreen McInnes. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
