Audrey A. LemieuxLoving mother, grandmother, and sister; 73 LEOMINSTER -- Audrey A. (Maston) Lemieux, 73, of Leominster, died peacefully Saturday morning, December 21, 2013 in Manor on the Hill assisted living, after a long illness.Audrey was born in Fitchburg, MA, June 7, 1940, daughter of Aubrey T. and Cecile A. (Therrien) Maston, and has lived in Leominster most of her life. Audrey's beloved husband, Paul L. Lemieux died in 2010.Audrey is a graduate of St. Bernard's Catholic High School of Fitchburg.She was a Federal Civil Service Employee for many years and a supervisor at Fort Devens. Audrey was very concerned for others. She was a member of the Heywood Hospital Aid Board, a hospital volunteer, and also worked in the gift shop. Audrey was a member of the Gardner Lion's Club and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed quilting, movies, going to the beach, bird watching, reading, yard sales, and gardening. Most of all, Audrey enjoyed spending time with her family. She cherished every moment she spent with them.Audrey will be sadly missed by her four children; Doreen P. Hutchins and her husband, Christopher of Londonderry, NH, David A. Lemieux and his partner, Dr. Charles K. Stuart of Worcester, Lisa A. Lemieux of Panama City Beach, FL, and Amy M. Parker, and her husband, Benjamin of Baldwinville, one sister, Elouise M. Baker of Ashburnham; 11 grandchildren; Paul Irizarry, Matthew Acker, Colin Acker, Katherine Christensen, Abigail Hutchins, Emily Lemieux, Alexander Lemieux, Grace Lemieux, Michael Lemieux, Nicholas Valeri, and Andrew Parker; and many nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by two brothers, Gilbert and Douglas Maston.LEMIEUX -- Relatives and friends are planning to honor and celebrate Audrey's life by gathering for calling hours in the Lamoureux Fletcher and Smith Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner, on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 4-7 PM. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 in the First Congregational Church of Gardner, 28 Green St., Gardner, beginning at 11 AM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey's memory may be made to the Gardner Lions Club, c/o Ron Lewis, 161 Euclid St., Gardner, MA 01440.
