Arthur L. Valois, 72Shrewsbury - Arthur Louis Valois, 72, of Shrewsbury, MA, passed away on July 28, 2014 after a sudden illness. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Valois, sister, Yvette (Valois) Desilet, and daughter, Suzanne. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Buckley) Valois, mother, Alice Valois Despard, brother, Paul Valois and wife Carrie, brother, Eugene Valois and wife Marilyn, sister, Mary-Ann (Young) Tellier and husband Robert, daughter, Carol D'Amico, son, Jonathan Valois, grandchildren, Beth-Ann D'Amico-Reyes and husband Alejandro, Jami-Lynn D'Amico, Jonathan Valois Jr., and Andrew Valois, and four great-grandchildren.Arthur was a graduate of Holy Name High School in Worcester, MA. He retired from Allied Freightways after 40 years as a truck driver and member of Teamsters Union Local 170. He wintered in Florida and enjoyed traveling around the world. Inurnment will take place in Dade City, Florida on August 6. A memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption, Millbury, MA on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM.
