Obituary of Arthur-T. Forgett


Forgett, Arthur T. COHOES Arthur T. Forgett, 80, of Mohawk Street at Van Rensselaer Manor, died on Tuesday June 5, 2007 after a long illness. Born and educated in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Thomas and Genet Macey Forgett. Mr. Forgett was a machine operator for Norton Co. in Watervliet for over 30 years. Arthur was an avid bowler and dart shooter. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1450, Cohoes Moose Club, Cohoes Waterford Elks, and the Eagles Club in Saratoga. Arthur was the Husband of the late Anna May Heitzman, also father of Thomas Forget of Cohoes, Arthur Forgett Jr. of Albany, Ann Grennon of Ala. and the late William Forgett; brother of Bernadette Stewart of Latham, Betty Fountaine of Halfmoon, and the late Leo Forgett; grandfather of Jennifer, Scott, Kim, Arthur, Tammy, Kelly, Darcey, and Carolyn; also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday 9:00 a.m. from the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes, and 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Parish, Cohoes. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterford.
