SAVARD, Arthur “Art“ - In loving memory of Arthur “Art“ Savard, 84 years, who passed away Sunday, September 13th, 2009 at his home. Beloved husband of Cecile (Brisebois) Savard predeceased 1984. Loving father of Rochelle and predeceased by Patrick. Dear grandfather of Dylan. Loving son of Elzear and Alma Savard both predeceased. Dear brother of Albert (wife Alice predeceased), Wilfred (wife Joy), William (wife Yvette predeceased) (September 13th, 2009), predeceased by Joe (wife Mildred “Ckick“), Alma (husband Rudolph Tremblay), Florence (husband Jean “Jonnie“ St. Pierre), Hormidas “Midas“ (wife Therese) and Leo (wife Sharron Jones surviving). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and their families. Born in Sudbury, he married Cecile in Wahnapitae in 1961, Art worked at the logging camps, then as a mechanic and then for 34 years as a proud and active “Life Member“ of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, Local 800. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Friday, September 18th, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
