LEE, ARTHUR J.Rev. Arthur J. Lee, age 78, died at the VA Hospital, April 16, 2008. He was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, and past Pastor of St. Paul Miss. Baptist Church., Newberry, FL, and a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Rev. Lee is survived by his children: Arthur Lee, Curtis Lee, both of Newberry, FL, Savalas Lee, Gainesville, FL, Glenda Lee, Schenectady, NY, Claudell Lee, Newberry, FL, Joanna Lee, Harriet Lee, both of Gainesville, FL, and a host of grandchildren. Funeral services for Rev. Lee will be 3:30pm, Sat. April 26, 2008, at Bethel A. M. E. Church, Newberry, FL, Rev. Theodora Black, officiating; burial will follow in the Newberry Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N. W. 8t'' Ave., Gainesville, FL. Visitation: Chestnut Memorial Chapel, Fri., April 25, 2008 2-8pm, and on Sat. at the Church 2:30pm until the hour of service; there will be no viewing following the eulogy.
