GRAY Arthur James Gray, Sr., 80, passed away on January 27, 2004. Born in Charleston, South Carolina on March 26, 1923, he was a life long resident of Jacksonville. Mr. Gray was self employed in the Produce Business and was a World War II Veteran. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar, and family. He is survived by 2 brothers, Dan Gray and Robert Gray; 4 sons, James C. Gray, Ronald J. Gray, Donald J. Gray, and Arthur J. Gray, Jr.; 8 daughters, Linda Thomas, Sheila Wilkes, Diane Boyd, Marsha Love, Patricia Jenkins, Arlene Harris, Brenda Slay, and Crystal Herndon; 30 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 29,, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at TOWN & COUNTRY FUNERAL HOME, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2004 at Town & Country Funeral Home Chapel, Rev.
