Art was born on March 18, 1922 at Lundbreck, AB to Guy and Jeannette Fleming. Art loved to travel to many parts of the world. He was a parachutist in World War II, and then attended several parachute reunions after that. He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway most of his working life. He attended the Nazarene Church for many years. Art was married to Carolyn DeBord Northcott Grainger and divorced. He is survived by his daughter Lois (Mike) Zvolensky and granddaughter Keirra, stepdaughter Cheryl (Joe) Heaton and family, stepson Lorne, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; siblings, Grace Humble, Evelyn Boltwood, and Delbert Fleming; and stepsons, Ken and Terry. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
