<!-- FH = SWILLEY FUNERAL HOME -->ARRINGTON, Arthur Andre, 74, of Las Vegas, NV, went to be with the Lord, July 10, 2012, after a recent hospitalization complicated by CHF and pulmonary disease. Arthur, known to his family as Andre, was born June 8, 1938 in Lake Wales, Florida, home to the historic Bok Tower Gardens which was dear to his heart. Andre, a veteran of the Vietnam War, served in the Air Force in the United States and overseas. He retired in 1981with over 20 years of loyal and dedicated service; particularly with the 35th Component Repair Squadron. Like his father, Andre enjoyed wood carving. He also enjoyed music, playing the harmonica, and drawing. He was very creative, artistic and witty, with a great sense of humor; He was also a mechanic and loved working with and on all kinds of vehicles. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Walden and her spouse Roger; sons, Andre Arrington, Clint Arrington and spouse Kathy; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be 11-12:30 pm, Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the funeral home, 1602 W. Waters Ave. A graveside service will be 2:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, Florida, 33513, with military honors. Swilley Funeral Home (813)932-6157
