GREENVILLE - Arthur Anderson, 98, died May 26, 2011, at Monadnock Community Hospital, Peterborough. He was born Oct. 16, 1912, in Boston, to Axel and Amelia (Larson) Anderson. He lived in Boston and attended school there. He married his wife, Eunice (Mabrey), in May of 1937. They spent 67 years together until her death in 2005. He moved to Hudson and Londonderry and raised his family. He worked at farms and on a road crew. He was trained as a machinist and worked for Ingersoll Rand Co. until his retirement in 1975. He loved to travel with his wife and enjoyed many trips to California to visit family and wintered in Florida. He enjoyed the outdoors and golfed and bowled. He was a deacon at the Community Church in Hudson for many years. He was predeceased by a son, Calvin Anderson, in 1949. . IN HIS LIFE: Family includes daughter Carol Demers of Greenville; three grandchildren, Tammy, Debbie and Rickey; four great-grandchildren, Jessica, Josh, Jacob and Joseph; and two great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Gabriel. . SERVICES: Calling hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in Michaud Funeral Home Chapel, 32 Maple St., Wilton. Interment will be private.
