Lockport Realty Co.WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Arthur M. "Art" Anderson of Winter Haven died of pneumonia Thursday (Sept. 11, 2003) in Auburndale. He was 85.Born in Lockport, Ill., on May 30, 1918, he came to Winter Haven from there in 1976. He was the owner and operator of Lockport Realty Company for 40 years. He was a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was secretary and treasurer of Lockport Savings and Loan. He was a member of Abiding Saviour Lutheran Church.Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gladys M. Anderson; daughters, Judith M. Black, Winter Haven, June A. Burke, Bloomington, Ill.; son, Arthur A. Anderson, Midway, Ark.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
