-> Newington - Arrie Mae Carter, 87, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at Sylview Healthcare Center. The Screven County native was a homemaker and a member of Little Ogeechee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry A. Carter and her brother, R.J. Brower. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Wylene Seckinger of Luray, S.C.; two sons, Larry H. Carter of Sylvania and Dessie D. Carter of Newington; seven grandchildren, two great- grandchildren; three brothers, Leroy, Rollie, and Herbert Brower; three sisters, Ruby Mock, Lillian Hendrix, and Minnie Jean Brower. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the Little Ogeechee Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
