LEMIEUX, Armand Roland Armand Lemieux, age 95, passed away on January 28. Armand was born May 10, 1916 in the Abitibi region of Quebec. His family moved to Bonnyville in northern Alberta when he was young. At aged 16 he set off with his brother for Maillardville, BC where he would eventually meet his wife of 71 years, Annette. Armand and Annette had 8 children, three of whom pre-deceased him. He and Annette also raised numerous foster children. He was proud of his service in the Winnipeg Grenadiers in WWII and his many years working for the Municipality of Coquitlam. His large, multi- generation family will miss his kindness and generous spirit. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, February 4, 10:30am at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 20676 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Armand's memory.
