Arlene A. Miller, 89, Punta Gorda, died June 23, 2005, at Charlotte Harbor Healthcare in Port Charlotte. She was born Oct. 2, 1915, in Barre, Vt., and came to the Punta Gorda area in 1988 from Madison, Conn. She continued to maintain a home in Portsmouth, R.I. Survivors include sons Dave of Punta Gorda and Arthur A. of Guilford, Conn.; a daughter, Susan M. Benson of Portsmouth, R.I.; five grandsons; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Roberson Funeral Home & Crematory, Punta Gorda Chapel, is in charge.
