PORT RICHEY, Fla. ; Antonio W. Michaud (Tony), 89, of Port Richey Florida and formerly of South Berwick, Maine, died May 20, 2008. He was born Feb. 24, 1919, the son of Ludger C. and Amelia (Blais) Michaud.He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Margaret (Margo); a stepdaughter, Joan Gaucho of Mass.; sisters, Dorothy Anderson and husband George, Carol Gaudreault and her husband John, both of The Villages, Fla.; one step grandchild and one step great-grandchild of Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.For the past 29 years he has called Florida home, enjoying dancing and gathering with friends. During the summers he and his wife enjoyed returning to South Berwick, visiting the Senior Citizens Center and reconnecting with friends. He catered many weddings in South Berwick and surrounding areas, plus was the owner of a popular lunch route. Others may remember him as the owner of Tony's Lunch Room at the Shoe Factory in So. Berwick before retiring to Florida.He was a 27-year member of St. Johns Lodge #51 F&AM, South Berwick, American Legion, Paradise Post #79, New Port Richey. Elks Lodge #1220, Hudson and a member of St. Michaels the Archangel Catholic Church in Port Richey.He was predeceased by four brothers, Edgar, Albert, Edward and Oscar Michaud, and sister Bella (Michaud) Cox.He was buried with full military honors at the National Military Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.Memorial donations may be made in his name to: Hernando Pasco Hospice, 12029 Majestic Blvd. Suite 1, Hudson, FL. 33467.To view the online guest book, visit www.fosters.com/obits
