Obituary of Antoinette-C. Michaud


MICHAUD Antoinette "Toni" C. Michaud, age 80, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2007. Mrs. Michaud was born in Portage, Maine and was a previous resident of Bridgeport and a Yorktown resident since 1992. She retired from Sacred Heart University in 1991 after 20 years of service. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and active with the Senior Center of Yorktown and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Toni is survived by her son, Michael C. Michaud and his wife. Brenda. of Falmouth, Maine; two daughters, Lynn Walsh and her husband, John, of Seaford and Claudette Johnson of Yorktown; a sister, Beatrice Madore of Van Buren, Maine; two brothers, Philip Cormier of East Hartford and Gilbert Cormier of Plainville; five grandchildren, David Gosselin and his wife, Ashley, Jennifer Gosselin and Emily and Brooke Walsh and Danielle; two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Ella Gosselin. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2006 at 11 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church by Fr. Jim Curran. The family will receive friends following the Mass with a reception in the church social hall. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038-1132. Amory Funeral Home, Grafton is in charge of the arrangements.
