Simone, Anthony "Uncle", 74 born January 13, 1930 in Providence, RI and long time resident of Cranston, Rhode Island and Tamarac, Florida, entered into rest on Sunday, June 27, 2004. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Simone and his mother, Julia Simone; his brother, Joseph Simone Jr.; and his infant daughter, Lisa Ann. He will be dearly loved and greatly missed by his wife, Louise Simone; and his sister, Betty Kennedy; his children, Anthony Simone Jr. and his wife, Roberta; Sharon Girard and her husband Jeff; Angelo "Cappy" Simone and Bridget; his grandchildren, Brianna, Anthony III and Adina Simone; and Jeffrey Girard; his nieces and nephews, Julie Ann Barrett; Joyce DiStefano and her husband Robert "Bob", Elizabeth Kennedy, Bill Kennedy and his wife Maria; Linda Raviele; Jimmy Raviele Jr. and his wife Kelly; Joey Simone III and his wife Angela; and his great nieces and nephews, Jennifer Barrett; Lisa Marie and Robert DiStefano; and Briana Marie Kennedy; Jimmy Raviele III; Joey IV and Aryn Simone; as well as his great, great nieces, Sarah Jean, Jessie and Alexys Barrett. He will also be missed by his uncle, Louie DeBiasio; and his aunt, Camille Parolisi; as well as his cousin, Ann Villa and his dear friend Stan Kinsley who anointed him upon his death. Uncle is also survived by numerous family and friends, too many to list, who will carry his memory in their hearts. Uncle Anthony continued working as Office Coordinator for Robert P. DiStefano P.A. up to the day before his death. This became an integral part of his life as he formed a second family there who came to refer to him as "Uncle" and will miss him dearly. Uncle was a past member of the Cranston Lions for over forty years, and was honored with a life membership to Lions International. He was also a long time member of the Cranston Council Knights of Columbus. The extent to which our "Uncle" will be missed in our daily lives is immeasurable. He was a man loved by all he knew because of his warm, inviting heart and his genuine interest in the lives of those he loved. A day will not pass without thoughts of you Uncle, but we know you are in Heaven forever watching over us. We will always miss your unconditional love. Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 3:30-6:30 pm with wake service at 5:30 pm at MASON FUNERAL HOME, 7151 McNab Rd, Tamarac, FL 33321, 954-721-3300. We love you more.
