De SIMONE Anthony, 92, of Paterson died on April 18, 2014.Born in Paterson he was a life long resident. Anthony served his country as a Veteran of WW II serving in the US Army.  He was a Parishioner of Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church of Paterson, where he was also a former member of the Holy Name Society. He was employed by the Paterson Police Department for over 40 years before his retirement in 1986. He was a member of PBA Local #1. He is survived by his wife Clara (nee Vecchione), his daughters Antonia De Simone of Paterson and Dorothy and John C. Flannery of Elmwood Park, and his grandchildren Kristin Zaharuk and her husband Christopher, and Michael Flannery.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday from the Scillieri Funeral Home 351 Fifth Avenue Paterson at 9:15 AM with a Mass of Ressurection at 10 AM at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church Paterson. Burial will follow with military honors at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Totowa Boro. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM.
