Obituary of Annie Williams


Williams, Annie L. (Miriam), age 91, passed away on January 9, 2013 after an extended illness. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, William Leslie Williams, parents, Frank and Annie Merle Brady Lassiter, sister, Myrtle Dubberly, brothers, Clarence, Jack, Joe Frank, John B., and Felix Lassiter. She is survived by a sister, Virginia Davis (Crowell) and a brother, Glenn Lassiter, (Jo) and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and many friends. She was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of the Pintlala Hope Hull community. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Liberty Church of Christ at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 13th. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Kerry Brown, Dwight Davis, Allen Lassiter, Frank Lassiter, Mitchell Moore, and Samuel Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Grant Lassiter, Brady Lassiter, Jared Jones, and Clay Jones. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Church of Christ for the Panama Mission Fund, 15096 U.S. Hwy 31, Hope Hull, AL 36043 or to the Pintlala Volunteer Fire Department, 250 Federal Road, Hope Hull, AL 36043. The family would like to express their appreciation to the entire staff of Waterford Place Specialty Care Assisted Living Center, for their loving and professional care of "Aunt Miriam".
