<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->November 6, 1914 - October 5, 2014 Annie Ruth Sanford Williams, 99, peacefully passed away on October 5, 2014 in Houston, Texas. Born on November 6, 1914, Annie was originally from Tallassee, Alabama. She moved to the Mobile area with her husband Oscar Williams in 1942. Annie was preceded in death by her husband Oscar, mother, father and siblings along with her grandson, Todd Pittman. She is survived by her two daughters, Joanne Pittman from Chickasaw, Alabama and her daughter Deborah Austin from Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Vincent Richardson (Cindy), Decie Jensen and Joseph Pittman; great-grandchildren Amy Phillips (Keith), Tori, Samantha, Shannon Byrd (Doug), Deborah, Todd, Jamie, Noah and Gabrielle; great-great grandchildren Cole, Draven, Kyrah, Oscar, Gavin, and Jayce, Annie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chickasaw , where she and her husband were actively involved in teaching Sunday School for many years. She was employed by Gayfer's Department Store for 37 years before retiring in 1984. Visitation will be held at 12:00 P.M. at Pine Crest Funeral Home and Cemetery, Dauphin Island Parkway, October 11, 2014. The family will celebrate Annie's life with a graveside service immediately following the visitation at 1:00 P.M.
