Ms. Annie Ruth Watson Johnson 1936 - 2008 - SAVANNAH - Ms. Annie R. Johnson entered eternal rest on Sunday March 16, 2008 at Hospice of Savannah. Ms. Annie Ruth Watson Johnson was born April 2, 1936 to the late James Watson and Mary Lou Robinson in Albermarle, NC. She moved to Savannah, GA at an early age, attended the public schools of Chatham County, and Graduated from Cuyler Street School. She joined Palen United Methodist Church at the age of 15. She was employed by the Parson's family of Wassaw Island, GA and Parsons' Beach Main for 45 years. She was preceded in death by a brother; Curtis Watson, a niece LaTonya Watson Williams, a sister; Hildreth Hamilton. She leaves to cherish her memories three nephews; Curtis A. Watson, Jr., Dwayne Argrow, and Kevin Grant, all of Savannah, GA, one niece; Angela Cutter, one sister-in-law; Charlotte Watson, one dear friend; Shirley Fields of Savannah, GA a dear companion; Jesse M. Thorne, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Wake: 6-7 pm Friday at the church. Funeral services will be held 10:00a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Palen United Methodist Church 1907 Burroughs Street. Interment: Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
