Jefferson - Annie Ruth Hancock, 65, of Jefferson, died October 21, 2006. Services will be 1pm, Today at Maxey Hill Baptist Church in Jefferson, interment in church cemetery. Survivors include husband Velous Hancock; son Jerrold Hancock; brother Samuel T. Jackson; brother Jerome McLeroy, Athens, GA; sister Betty (John) Studivant, Jefferson, GA; five grandchildren.
