Homemaker AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, June 10, 2002 at University Hospital, Mrs. Annie Ruth Crozier Powell, of Lost Tree Lane, Martinez, beloved wife of Mr. Loran E. Powell. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Robert C. Daniel officiating. Additional survivors include a son, Loran Eugene Powell of Murrieta, Calif.; a daughter, Gwen Thompson of Locust Grove, Va.; two brothers, Forrest Crozier of Memphis, Tenn., and David Crozier of Waynesboro, Ga.; two grandchildren, Stephen Thompson and Loran Robert Powell; three great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Powell, Evan Thompson and Nathan Thompson. A native of Augusta, Mrs. Powell was a member of the Volunteer Sunday School Class at Warren Baptist Church. If so desired, memorials may be made to Warren Baptist Church Building Fund, 3203 Washington Road, Augusta, GA 30907 or Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation, 1775 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033.
